Dafina Williams is Vice President for Public Policy at the Opportunity Finance Network, a national network of community development financial institutions (CDFIs). She joined Opportunity Finance Network in 2006 and leads the organization’s public policy efforts on federal appropriations, housing finance, and small business lending. She also manages the organization’s regulatory advocacy and grassroots advocacy efforts. Ms. Williams is the President of the Board of Directors for Barrio Planta Project, an international nonprofit providing access to free, quality education in Latin America. She also served as Chair of the Financial Future Subcommittee of the City of Philadelphia’s Millennial Advisory Committee from 2017-2019, where she advised the Kenney Administration on policies related to financial capability, student loan debt, and job creation for millennials in the city. Dafina is a magna cum laude graduate of Temple University, where she received a BBA in Economics.
