Pedro Diaz Munoz is the Financial Capability Program Manager at UnidosUS (formerly NCLR), the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy organization with a mission to build a stronger America by creating opportunities for Latinos. UnidosUS accomplishes its mission through a unique combination of research, advocacy, programs, and a national network of nearly 300 community-based Affiliate organizations across the country. In his current role Pedro manages national and local initiatives that support Affiliates in the UnidosUS Financial Empowerment Network and provides capacity building and technical assistance support to strengthen their financial capability services.
Pedro has nearly 10 years of experience in the housing and financial capability space as a program manager, housing counselor and financial coach. He most recently worked at The Resurrection Project (TRP) as the Director of Financial Wellness where he was responsible for overseeing TRP’s financial capability and housing objectives, including home purchase counseling, financial coaching and education, foreclosure prevention counseling, and credit building programs such as lending circles. Additionally, Pedro brings 10 years of experience in the banking industry in the areas of consumer banking and financial center management.
